I absolutely love this dress. I had the applique and didn't know when to use it...I decided to put it on this bright blue corduroy I've had for years...I love the way it turned out. I hope the little girl I made it for look super sassy in it.

Christmas Fabric?
You decide. When I first saw this funky pink, red, and green fabric I thought of spring for sure...but the more I look at it the more I see using it for a fun Christmas dress. I don't know how fun my dresses are...I usually stick to about two styles...fun or not....anyway.
I got the fabric and needed to make a dress for my sister in laws friend....
with the leftover I made a skirt for a coworker's daughter and then
appliqued a letter on a onesie for the baby sister.
I think it is cute and will probably use it for some Christmas/spring dresses.
Peace, Bug, and A baby
Cakes that is...
In about 24 hours I turned out three cakes. I was literally up to my elbows in powdered sugar. The Lady Bug cake was made first. It was for Kiera Maxey for her first birthday.
The Peace Sign Cake came next for my little cousin Merilese. It was to feed about 10 crazed preteens.
Next on the list was a baby shower cake for Hadley Hope Cayson who will be arriving in a couple of weeks.
I've made about three cakes since then but I have forgotten to take pictures of any of them...so maybe next time.
Girly Girls
I've been very delinquent on my posting...for that I am sorry. In the sweat shop I have been super productive. Here are some girly things I have made lately.
A Super Cute Ole Miss Top
A pair of flowery pants
and
A pair of appliqued tops for two sisters
